About the Boomer Biz Editor Hi folks! My name is Til Sheets. I'm a recent addition to the Boomers International editorial staff. My educational background is in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (Ph.D.) and Counseling Psychology (M.S.). I have been involved in business starting in 1982 when I started my first business while attending college at LSU in Shreveport, LA. In my professional career I have worked as a database programmer, counselor, program coordinator, consultant and part-time university instructor. My pre-professional work experience varied from farm hand/cowboy to waiter (6 years - I refer to it as my first career). I ended up doing my graduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi and grew roots in the area. I currently own and operate a barbecue restaurant in rural Ellisville, MS and consult part-time. My family and I live on 12 acres (we can see the nearest neighbor but can't hear them) just a few miles from our business. We enjoy the rural setting and laid-back atmosphere that country life provides. While at times I miss some of the conviences of city life, I just have to remind myself of St. Louis at rush hour to reinforce my contentment. And yes, the term "Y'all" is a permenant part of my vocabulary. | ||
