A lonely country road..
Lonely country road, where are you, taking me, open sky, vast land to see, view of snow-covered mountains, lonely country road, up the hills and down the valleys. A picture perfect work of arts, winding through the vineyards, blue sky and vast open air, lonely country road, leading me to nowhere... Stiring up the dusty dirt, lonely country road, Urging me to explore, ever more the country life, Solitude, I always wanted, to be.
Lonely country road, so remote, with wild greeneries, so fair with such beauty, cutting across the riding trails, horses running along, in between and through the rails.
Rows of eucalyptus trees, Swaying in the warm sun and soft wind, fill my heart-desire within, of blisses. lonely country road, leads me away from city glitzes, to calmness, of country life that I choose.. ... and love.
I am sitting here typing, and looking out the windows, of my country-ranch home, I can see the country road, winding through the vineyards, and rows of Eucalyptus trees.... Hence, this poem.... came to me.... Naturally....... Jieranai Maier Feb-Mar 2004 First Edition Spring 2004 |
